Because I tend to write about faith and the arts a good bit, I guess I should have an opinion about that new Mel Gibson movie. I do, but I'm going to post this instead:
A society that moves too fast and thinks too little is hardly the kind to nurture a writing form, developed in another age, that's not designed to yield its secrets easily. Sadly, reflection is a scarce commodity these days. Increasingly, Americans - even those educated yuppies with fancy degrees - have precious little time to exercise their imaginations.
