I just heard a promo for tonight's jazz show on our local NPR station. The host announced that he would be playing great tracks from bad albums, which, of course, got me thinking. The first two songs that come to mind are "I Need You Like a Drug" from a horrible album by a horrible band, They Eat Their Own, that came out when I was a sophomore in college and "Resplendent" (a former Song of the Moment) by Bill Mallonee and Vigilantes of Love. Actually, Audible Sigh isn't exactly a bad album; it's just monotonous. "Resplendent" is so different from, and so much better than, the rest of the songs, I just never get around to listening to them.
Any others?
