Long Pauses for the seeing-impaired, courtesy of LIFT Text Transcoder. What a brilliant utility, and one that is already being implemented widely at Penn State University. (Click on "Text-Only Version" at the bottom-right.) I especially like the way it handles nested tables, which, along with graphics, are the biggest stumbling blocks for most text-readers. As academic institutions face increasingly stringent federal mandates on Web usability, tools like this will solve a lot of man-hours and headaches.
