I seem to have established some sort of psychic bond with Karen, from over at Beyond. Her latest blog covers similar territory as my own recent ramble. I especially like this bit:
I don't mind the word "religion". I think of it in its root meaning which is "ligament", connection. From my Sunday School days, I remember a bible verse that said pure religion was about looking after widows and orphans in distress. That's a pretty good way to be connected especially when you combine it with loving your neighbor as yourself.
