There are two main reasons that updates have been so sporadic lately. First, deadlines. I had one today (a fun little essay about Tsai Ming-Liang that will eventually show up over at Senses of Cinema), and another deadline is looming (Tony Kushner essay, to be delivered at the national MELUS conference). Second, I've decided to give Long Pauses a much needed makeover. When I first designed the site, I had no idea that it would get so large, and management has become a bitch. So, expect a new and improved, CSS-fueled relaunch in the near future. Anyone else getting sick of this gray background?
